Elaine

Elaine Allan

Elaine Allan has an extensive background in non-profit management and community resource development.  Her specializations are: financial accounting for non-profits, program development, and agency branding.

Elaine has held key positions with organizations including: the Salvation Army, the St. Leonard’s Society, Correctional Service Canada, the W.I.S.H. Drop-In Centre, and the John Howard Society.

Elaine earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Carleton University, a Certificate in Peer Counseling from the University of British Columbia, a Certificate in French Language Studies from Laval University, and is an MBA (Fin.) Candidate with Kaplan University.

Dedicated to community resource development Elaine has developed several long-serving programs such as: the Volunteer Work Experience Program – a program designed to help individuals gain transferable job skills through volunteer engagement, training, and education and Prison to the Community, Preventing Homelessness – a program that secures safe, affordable housing for hundreds of individuals returning to the community from correctional facilities each year.

Lisa Vanderloo

Lisa Vanderloo attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Economics.  Lisa provides assistance and support to SNBC’s members, operations, staff, and board of directors.  Lisa cares deeply about SNBC’s mission to provide training and networking opportunities to homeless service providers throughout British Columbia.
